Our NAHPS Team are essential to enable us to provide core services such as treatment for Minor Illnesses, Blood tests, Long Term Condition Reviews and Minor Surgery Procedures.

Ms Laura Ireland
NAHPS Manager - Community Specialist Practitioner
RGN, RN Child, BSC Child Health, BSc - SPQ-GPN, Prescriber, Queens Nurse, Silver Chief Nurse Officer Award, Diabetes and Asthma Diplomas.

Laura is our NAHPS Manager, looking after our team of Nurses and Allied Healthcare Professionals. Laura is a Prescribing Nurse and undertakes reviews for Child and Adult Asthma, Diabetes, COPD and Hypertension. Laura was also integral in developing our Complex Care process and is regularly involved in the Complex Care Review process. 

Mrs Sarah Fisher
General Practice Nurse
RGN, Cervical Screening Qualifications

Sarah is one of our General Practice Nurses at Moatfield, she undertakes many of our Cervical Screenings and has experience with anxious and post-menopausal patients, so you are in safe hands for your appointment! Sarah also completes both Routine Child and Adult immunisations, routine adult immunisations (such as Zoladex, Hormone Injections, B12...) and out-of-schedule immunisations. 
Sarah is also trained in woundcare (assessment and planning treatment) and Travel advice and Immunisations. You may also see Sarah for your Adult Asthma review, or if you are being trained to self-administer your injections. 

Ms Yvette Sarfo
General Practice Nurse
RN Adult, Intensive Care Certificate, Child Immunisations

Yvette Joined Moatfield Surgery in February 2024. You may see Yvette for routine child and adult immunisations, Woundcare, ECGs, Suture and Clip removal, and Blood Tests. Yvette is also trained to assist with our Minor Surgery clinics on Friday Afternoons.

Ms Melanie Scarratt
HCPC Registered Paramedic, Diabetes Qualifications

Mel has been with Moatfield Surgery since 2022, you may be booked in with Mel for assessment and treatment of minor illnesses, Adult Diabetic and Asthma reviews, or one of our Group Diabetes sessions. She is also able to complete INRs and perform immunisations. 

Clinical Pharmacist 

Mrs Samantha Gibson
Senior Clinical Pharmacist
GPhC Registered Pharmacist, MPharm, BSC Clinical Pharmacy, Prescriber

Sam is our Senior Clinical Pharmacist at Moatfield Surgery. Sam is a Prescribing Pharmacist and undertakes reviews for Adult Asthma, COPD and Hypertension. You may also see Sam for Counselling on Medications and Medicines Optimisation and Reconciliation, eg. Following Discharge from Hospitals. Sam was also integral in developing our Complex Care Process and is regularly involved in our Complex Care Review process. 

Mrs Aleesha Khan
Clinical Pharmacist
GPhC Registered Pharmacist, MPharm Qualification

Aleesha joined us in December of 2023. You may see Aleesha for long term condition reviews such as Hypertension and discussing cholesterol and statins, or Medication reviews for contraceptive pills and HRT. Aleesha also handles Medicines optimisation and reconcilliation following hospital discharge. You may also see Aleesha for Travel Advice and Travel and Flu Vaccinations. 

Ms Danni Easton

Working towards Pharmacy Technician Training

Danni has just started within our NAHPS team as a Trainee Pharmacy Technician. She updates medication following outpatient appointments.

Emily is one of our Healthcare Assistants at Moatfield Surgery, you may see Emily for Blood tests, ECGs, Suture/Clip removal and Simple Woundcare appointments. Emily is also able to complete INR Testing and Adult Injections (such as B12 injections). She is trained to assist with our Minor Ops and Coil Procedures and also screens Blood Pressure results when they come in from our Recall team. 

Currently, Emily is working towards completing a Nursing Associate Apprenticeship.

Ms Molly Crump
Trainee Nurse Associate

Molly works as a Healthcare Assistant at Moatfield. You may be booked in with Molly for Blood tests, ECGs, Suture/Clip removal and Simple Woundcare appointments. Molly also does INR Testing and Adult Injections (such as B12 injections). She is trained to assist with our Minor Ops and Coil Procedures and also screens Blood Pressure results when they come in from our Recall team. 

Molly has completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and is now working towards completing a Nursing Associate Apprenticeship.
